1. Who can shop at Welch & Tidy?
We are a wholesale cash and carry and are only open to trade customers. You must be a business owner or an employee shopping on behalf of a business in order to register with us. When opening your account, we will ask for a recent invoice from another supplier and also proof of address (e.g. a recent utility bill).
Please note, for health and safety reasons, children under the age of 16 are not permitted inside the warehouse.
2.  How do I open an account?
Opening an account couldn’t be easier. You can either complete our online account opening form OR visit us in store and complete the form in person. On your first visit, we ask that you bring a recent invoice from another supplier and also proof of business address (e.g. a recent utility bill). If you are a sole proprietor, we also ask that you bring proof of home address (e.g. passport, driver’s license or utility bill). Once we have this information, your account will be set up and you can start shopping with us straight away.
3.  What is the minimum spend amount?fgd
There is a minimum spend of £75 (excluding VAT) each time you visit us.
4.  What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, debit or credit cards only.
5.  Do you offer credit to your customers?
Unfortunately we are not able to offer any forms of credit to customers. We operate on a cash and carry basis, and require payment at the point of sale. Payment can be by cash, debit or credit card.
6.  Do you deliver?
Welch & Tidy operates on a cash and carry basis, meaning we do not deliver products to our customers. We want to ensure our customers are offered the most competitive prices, and to do this, we require that customers come to the warehouse to pick and transport their goods. 7.  Do your listed prices include VAT?
All our prices listed in store and on this website exclude VAT. Where VAT is applicable, it will be added at the current rate at the point of sale. Most of our products will incur VAT, with the exception of food products and some children’s books.
8.  Do you accept returns?
If your goods are faulty or damaged, we will offer a full refund within 90 days from the date they were purchased. Return of good stock (i.e. stock purchased in error) will be subject to a 25% restocking charge.
9.  What are your opening times?
We are open:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays: 8am – 7pm
Wednesdays & Fridays: 8am – 9pm
Sunday: 8am – 2pm.
Last entrance is 1 hour before closing. We are closed on Saturdays
